Famous socialite (whatever that means) and one of the heiresses of the Hilton Hotel empire Paris Hilton, turned 30 years-old today. And being Paris that means adoring presents from friends and family. What better way to show adoration than a supercar? Well, her boyfriend Cy Waits surprised her with a brand spanking new Lexus LFA while she was shooting her reality TV show.
Waits, who co-owns three night clubs with his brother in Las Vegas, reportedly presented the yellow car to Ms Hilton on the set of her show. No doubt that episode will garner a massive audience from petrol fans all over the world. While the present came in yellow, we do suspect a probable makeover soon which will result in Hilton’s favourite colour pink being dominant.
The LFA costs around R2.7 million in today’s money, and only 500 will eventually be built. Power comes from a 4.8-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine making 412kW and 480Nm of torque. They say it can go from 0 – 100km/h in just 3.7 seconds, finally top off at 325km/h. Hopefully the heiress has completed the required advanced driving courses to handle her new toy.
