2009 CLS63 AMG


    The new face lift model for the year 2009 sees a replacement of its original four-bar grill with the more dramatic two-bar grill, with upper and lower mesh finished in Atlas Grey. The coupe-like car emphasize on comfort and convenient with its four doors, coupled with sleek, sensuous exterior lines. Its large rear doors and spacious rear seats also represent tangible added value.







    Also comes with a larger outside mirror featuring built-in arrow-shaped turn signal, and a new dual-five-spoke 19-inch wheels make the care even more striking. Completing the face lift model are the new rear bumper with trapezoidal dual exhaust pipes and arrow-shaped LED taillights.







    The interior is equipped with a sportier three-spoke steering wheel and new gauges. Its three chronometer-type gauges and two LCD bar graphs in the instrument cluster are accented by chrome rings and more wood trim.




    There are also four separate climate control zone which can be individually controlled, each on the front and rear seat. There is even a digital control panel for setting desired temperature and adjusting airflow for the rear passengers. Those new features are complimented by an abundance of leather and wood.


    The Mercedes CLS come with two sleek model. The CLS 550 powered with DOHC four-valve-per-cylinder V8 engine capable of producing 382-horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque and the CLS 63 AMG comes with AMG-designed 6.2-liter V8 that produces 507 bhp and 465 lb-ft of torque.

    The CLS 63 AMG engine which is developed by AMG, built from high-strength silicon-aluminum alloy, features four valves per cylinder, double overhead camshafts with variable valve timing, bucket tappets (rather than rocker arms), an 11.3 to 1 compression ratio and a variable intake manifold.
    Comes with seven-speed AMG Speedshift automatic transmission, it can be shifted manually by either a conventional lever or paddles shift on the AMG sport steering wheel. Providing 35% faster gear shifts with its AMG Speedshift electronic control while giving performance-minded drivers total control of shifting, the manual mode of AMG Speedshift does not make any automatic up / down shifts even when driving at max engine speed / full load.

    Equipped with giant vented and perforated disc brakes on its 14-inch disc and six-piston calipers up front and 13-inch discs with four-piston calipers at the rears, the river is ensured to be able to stop in no time. The 19-inch wheels with 8 1 and 9 1 inch widths carries 255 / 35 tires in front and 285 / 30 at rear.
