FERRARI 458 ITALIA SPIDER PRICED

When it comes to the world of cars, life outside of Mzansi appearsvery cheap. Evidence presented is enormous, and Ferrari isn’t saying theopposite either. Just look at the sticker price for the 458 Italia Spider. In Europe, the rich will be able to buy thissweet machine of desire for the sweet price of a Porsche 911 GT3.

As a Euro aficionado, you can pick up a brand new example of the topless Italian for the equivalentof R1.7 million in today’s prices. Onepays R200 000 more for an AudiR8 V10 in Mzansi! But of course for SA, Ferrari importers Viglietti Motors will charge their premium, and so will the state. In the end if you are up for hairraising performance with looks to thrill, expect to part with close on R4 million. That’s more than twice whatthey pay north of the Mediterranean!

The Ferrari 458 Italia Spider has a 4.5-litre V8 engine spewing out 419kW and 540Nm oftorque. They say it can go from standstill to 100km/h in just 3.4 seconds.
