Honda has launched the all-new 2012 Civic hatch to the United Kingdom market, with SE, ES, EX and EXGT trim levels made available. The cheapest Civic on the lot will cost £16,495 OTR (about R208 000) for the 1.4-litre iVTEC SE with 74kW. Mzansi does not get this engine; we only start at 1.8-litre.
New Civic hatch then goes all the way up to the 2.2 i-DTEC EX GT, a turbo dieselvariant pushing out 112kW. It includessuch luxury items as, a panoramicglass roof, parking sensors,bi-xenon lights, Bluetooth Hands Free Telephone (HFT), ambient interior lightingand 6 speaker sound system among others.
We can expect the new Civic hatchback in Mzansi sometime in 2012.
