It is probably the highest resolution interactive display outside of the military: Obscura Digital's newest, longest multitouch wall, revealed this weekend at the Hard Rock in Vegas, uses three projectors to handle 100 hi-res images and videos simultaneously in realtime.
This isn't the first Obscura Digital creation to catch our eye. We've seen 3D multitouch holograms, crazy building projections and an 8-by-4-foot Missile Command-playing multitouch wall.
The new 18-foot long wall scales across GPUs seamlessly, and automatically splits the workspace for up to 6 users to flick through Hard Rock photo and video memorabilia, with image resolution upwards of 12 megapixels.
Complementing the video tech, an audio system creates a pinpointed local audio experience, so that each user can interact with content without interfering with others.

Like all the best Onion pieces, this video takes the bizarre and scary concepts we ignore despite being right in front of our faces, and spells them out in blunt, hilarious language. As the "Google Exec" says, "If you don't want to give us complete access to your most private thoughts and feelings, that's fine! You can just toil on the hinterlands, and die young."
But my favorite part has to be the consistent juxtaposition of Google's bright happy basic colors on all the terrifying privacy guards and equipment. On the other hand, even if this horrible airless prison was real, I'd probably still get excited about the next Android phone. You win, Google. You win everything, ever.
Apariţie misterioasă pe cer la Braşov. Un cameraman amator a filmat în două seri diferite un obiect luminos cu o formă ciudată şi o mişcare neregulată. Bărbatul susţine că lumina era foarte puternică şi că nu provenea de la un avion. Ufologii par şi ei uimiţi de imaginile surprinse şi spun că vor încerca să afle care este sursa luminiii misterioase.
Prima apariţie a fost pe 24 iulie, puţin după ora 19. Bărbatul spune că stătea pe balcon şi admira cerul. Atunci a observat pe tonurile roşiatice un punct luminos care se mişca în stânga şi în dreapta. Atunci omul a luat aparatul de filmat.
Nu a apucat însă să surprindă mare lucru. Ar fi uitat evenimentul dacă două zile mai târziu aproape de miezul nopţii lumina n-ar fi reapărut. De data aceasta şi mai strălucitoare.
Pe imagini se vede că lumina ia diverse forme. Se mişcă necontrolat şi din când în când se alungeşte. Martorul jură chiar că a luat la un moment dat forma unui disc.
Specialiştii sunt hotărâţi să analizeze imaginile filmate mai ales că nu este prima dată când pe cer apar lumini grupate care se deplasează organizat şi despre care ei cred că sunt mărturii ale unor apariţii misterioase.

For comparison's sake, Honda's ASIMO robot can only manage a meager 6 km/h. We assume Toyota was able to squeeze the extra kilometer per hour out of their robot with a strict training regimen and what can only be described as a mild dose of physical abuse—their robot can re-balance itself when pushed lightly, as you can see in the video.
