Hartge, that other BMW tuner less known than AC Schnitzer, has presented a new turning programme for the BMW X1. The three models altered are the sDrive20d, xDrive20d and the sDrive18d. The exterior features Hartge emblems on the bonnet and the boot lid, Hartge insignia, and a stainless steel rear silencer with dual round exhaust pipes.
Engines were updated too. Work was done on all the ECUs in order to up power. The two-wheel-drive sDrive20d and its AWD sibling the xDrive20d go from 130kW to 154kW, while torque is boosted from 350Nm to 415Nm at 2000rpm. The baby of the group, the sDrive18d goes to 126kW and 350Nm.
A library of wheels and tyres ranging from 8 x 19" with 235 / 35 ZR 19 front tyres and 9 x 19" offset 29 with 235 / 35 ZR 19 rear rubber, to 9 x 20" with 245 / 30 ZR 20 front sets with
10 x 20" offset 40 with 295 / 25 ZR 20 rear are available. There are also custom options on the wheels too. Hartge installed a sports spring set and the suspension was lowered by 30mm.

Inside Hartge continues with their sporty behaviour by installing a 3-spoke leather-covered steering wheel with multifunction and a flat bottom, aluminium foot pedals, a leather/aluminium hand brake and gearknob and special mats.
