Audi South Africa has experienced record sales results in 2011 by selling 8 392 vehicles year to date. Audi sales volume has increased by 52% year on year. A 21.6% premium market share has been achieved for the first six months of the year.
Audi A4 range continues its impressive performance in 2011 with a total of 425 units sold in June. The Audi A1 is maintaining its dominance of the A0 hatch premium segment with 232 units sold for the month and nearly 1 400 units sold year to date. The new Audi A6 was introduced in June and a solid performance of 75 sales was achieved.
“The Audi brand has had a fantastic first half of 2011.” commented Ryan Searle; Head of Audi South Africa. “We look forward to the launch of the limited edition Audi RS3 and R8 GT during the third quarter of this year which will provide an added offensive to the already impressive range of products launched In 2011, including, the A1, A7, A8 and most recently the new Audi A6.” Searle concluded.
