General Motors is preparing a major project in the design of the Chevrolet Malibu 2013. GM will take off Malibu in all major markets and 100 countries worldwide.
If the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu sold all over the world, certainly the engine lineup will vary in each country. Only this time GM is still focusing on the model which was released in the U.S. and attended in 2012.
General Motors Malibu engine detailing detail using the all-new 2.5-liter four-cylinder Ecotec. This machine takes the details from the old 2.4-liter model. This unit is expected to produce 190 horsepower and peak torque of 180 lb-ft (250nm).
Chevrolet Malibu 2013 will emphasize the economic value on the highway. Expected to consume more than 30mpg, or about 7.8 liters per 100 kilometers.
"The intensity of the noise that existed at the 2.4-liter engine has been reduced by 40 percent. 2.5L engine provides more torque at low rpm while. This makes the Malibu is stronger at the beginning or during the opening maneuver," said Mike Anderson GM engineering chief.
