The National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of SouthAfrica (NAAMSA) reported that thenew car market grew 10.9% year onyear in August, recording sales of 51 315units. All the major players reported healthy sales for the month and areexpecting a full year of around 570 000sales.
The big sellers were the usual suspects, including theChevrolet Spark, Toyota Fortuner,Volkswagen Polo Vivo and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Here’s the list in thepassenger and light commercial vehicles sectors:
